Wolfgang Lackerschmid belongs to the leading vibists and important creators in Jazz and beyond. Since the middle seventies, he performes live and on more than 100 records, with legendary musicians like Chet Baker, Attila Zoller, Lee Konitz, Larry Coryell, Buster Williams, Paquito D´Rivera or the "Vibraphon Summit". Wolfgang Lackerschmid studied composition and percussion, and composed numerous songs and Jazz - tunes, which became part of the regular repertoire by many musicians. Besides that, he wrote also concert - music for orchestra, choir, percussionensemble and many other formations, as well as music for TV, radio and film. Frequently he works for several european Theaters as composer of music for plays, musicals and balletts. 1990 he received the cultural award „Bayerischer Staatsförderpreis für Kultur“ from the state Bavaria. Besides all those activities, you‘ll always find him touring with some excellend live - projects.

Bob Degen grew up in a musical family in Scranton, PA, USA, that encouraged his path into music at a very early age. He attended the Berklee College of Music (graduating in 1963) and was also tuitioned by legendary Margaret Chaloff (who taught such as Herbie Hancock and Steve Kuhn). Bob worked with musicians like Dexter Gordon, Art Farmer, Carmell Jones, Lee Konitz, Terumasa Hino, Leo Wright. He started his own trio in the sixties with Gary Peacock and Paul Motian. While living in Germany, he worked with Albert Mangelsdorff, Heinz Sauer and the Radio - Jazzensemble of "Hessischer Rundfunk" as well as with his trio. His innovative stile, talking rhythmical phrasing and his inspiring comping made him chosen for several ECM and ENJA recordings by leaders like Charlie Mariano, Dusko Goykovic and Stefanie Schlesinger.

Cameron Brown was born 1945 in Detroit, USA. In the mid-60s he was playing with musicians of the calibre of George Russell, Don Cherry and Donald Byrd, Sheila Jordan. He went to Europe to tour with Archie Shepp in the mid-70s. During this period he also visited Japan with Art Blakey and three years later recorded with Beaver Harris. In 1979 he joined the newly-formed quartet co-led by George Adams and Don Pullen. His work extended with musicians like Dannie Richmond, Ted Curson, Lee Konitz, Chet Baker, Betty Carter, John Hicks, Dewey Redman, Ricky Ford, Steve Grossman, Joe Lovano, Jane Ira Bloom, Charlie Rouse, Mal Waldron, and many others. The solid rhythmic pulse he imparts, and his keen sense of time, have been very important in providing an anchor for the freewheeling complexities of the various bands of which he has been an invaluable part.

Karl Latham was born in Trenton, New Jersey and grew up in a musical family. Inspired by his brother Rick, Karl started playing the drums at the age of 7. As a youth, Karl won many Regional and Statewide musical competitions. Karl has performed with a wide spectrum of notable performers such as Chuck Loeb, Joe Lovano, Clark Terry, Jon Faddis, Claudio Roditi, Dave Valentin, Larry Coryell, Roy Ayers, Wolfgang Lackerschmid, Dave Samuels, Michal Urbaniak, Bob Malach, Slide Hampton, Jasper Van't Hof, Attila Zoller, Ed Cherry, Georg Wadenius, Ronnell Bey, as well as with Johnny and Edgar Winter, Charlie Elgart, the Shirelles, The Fantasy Band, Blood Sweat & Tears, Eumir Deodato. In addition to his New York based projects, he has toured Europe extensively in recent years. His alert, sensitive but groovy playing made him becoming the favorite drummer of many leaders.
